Life drawing day 2 (the nude) (Shy and loud draw exercises)

Here are a series of sketches i done in the nude life model session. these in particular are Loud sketches. to achieve the loud drawing effect i used quite bold lines and materials that give this effect are ink and charcoal.

when doing it in this way i found that the drawings were much more expressive and free.

 here is a gestural drawing meaning i moved my whole body in order to draw the form.

 here the task was to think outside the box, so i simply drew on the wrong side of the easel as it was the only thing i can think of.

for this exercise there we a series of position in which each new position we had less and less time. after doing so i found that the sketches became even more free and expressive compared to the ones above.

the following drawings shown are all Shy drawings meaning that the marks are more refined and delicate.

 to achieve this technique i used a pen to make the marks very fine.

 here i tried to push myself so i decided to do a really small and delicate drawing.
